Sustainability at Revela
Preference for third party certified products where practicable, targeting low toxicity and low VOC. We avoid fragrance cover ups and aerosols, use concentrates with closed loop or automatic dosing, and refill durable bottles to cut single use plastics. Selection is guided by independent criteria and by protocols that minimise irritants and improve indoor air quality.
Microfibre is the default, with accurate dilution, controlled application and immediate recovery. Wash water is contained and captured for correct disposal and never discharged to stormwater. Where possible we use cold water processes and low flow equipment to reduce consumption.
Work plans follow the waste hierarchy so we avoid first, then reduce, reuse and recycle, with disposal only as a last resort. Streams are clearly segregated, signage is simple, packaging is minimised and take back options are used where available. Diversion can be tracked on request.
Methods match the substrate so finishes last longer and rework is reduced. We start with the gentlest effective option, follow manufacturer guidance and protect heritage and sensitive materials. Carpet care aligns with recognised practice to extend service life and reduce embodied impact.
Teams are briefed on site specific drainage and waste arrangements so water and materials are managed correctly and finishes last. People are empowered to pause and correct any practice that risks harm to people or the environment.
Staying ahead of the curve
Revela builds capability through structured training and clear compliance. Every worker completes company and site inductions, followed by role-specific modules that cover chemicals, equipment, surfaces, and risk control. Sector modules support healthcare, food premises, construction handovers & high access support. Records are maintained, refresher training is scheduled, ensuring continuous quality improvement at Revela.
Training maps the skills needed for each role and site. Toolbox sessions reinforce key topics and keep standards consistent across shifts and locations.
Workers are trained in safe selection, storage and handling of cleaning agents. The result is safer work, lower exposure and cleaner outcomes.
Work practices are reviewed against WHS obligations and the principles of ISO 9001 for quality, ISO 14001 for environment and ISO 45001 for safety.
We capture information that is useful and feed it back into training and methods. Insights guide coaching, product selection and sequencing so results keep improving.
